• How am I billed?

  *Cancel anytime by calling 1-332-225-9745, or online by simply emailing [email protected]. Our membership automatically renews every month unless you cancel before the start of the next term. We will charge you per month plus applicable sales tax to the same payment option you use today. Your membership is limited to running reports per month.

• Why aren’t my reports free?

  “Public" records are not necessarily "free". We pay for expensive bulk data in order to offer you vehicle reports.

• What vehicles can I search?

  Our data includes vehicles after 1981 when the standard 17-digit VIN was created. Automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, buses, motor homes and truck tractors may have vehicle history records. Unfortunately, we don't have history reports for tractors and trailers.

  Currently, our API is intended to be used to generate downloadable PDF reports that include all the history sections of our vehicle history report. You can see an example by running a VIN report and clicking the PDF button in the action bar.

• What happens if I run out of reports?

  If you run out of reports you’re able to upgrade at any time on our site, up to 100,000 credits. If you have need more credits you can contact us at [email protected] for a custom plan.

• Can I track how many credits I’ve used?

  Yes, on your Bumper API dashboard you’ll be able to see how many credits your account has run each month.

• Are you reports in PDF format?

  You can get access to both Bumper branded PDF and JSON reports.
